Beauty and the Beast - Gelish Collection Swatches and Review from the preen.me VIP program

Hello hello hello! So I received a very exciting package recently that I'm super excited to talk about with you guys from the preen.me VIP program! This collection is Morgan Taylor's Beauty and the Beast- Gelish Collection. It consists of 7 beautiful soak-off gel polishes in shades of pinks, blue, yellow, white and a lovely topper that adds a gorgeous, bronzed, antique effect to any gel polish. This collection has been released in correlation with the live action Walt Disney Picture's film, "The Beauty and the Beast" in theaters March 17th! I had lots of fun swatching these gels and I instantly fell in love with all of the gorgeous colors :o) I apologize in advance for the wonky swatches :( I had quite a bit of trouble with some of the polishes and my camera was going crazy from the color of bottles for some reason! (Make sure to read the whole post to see sneak peeks of nail art I haven't posted on instagram yet!)

"Enchanted Patina" Two Coats
"Enchanted Patina" Brush
To begin, I thought I'd see how the "Enchanted Patina" effect polish looked by its self, so here is two coats, no topcoat! I think this polish is so gorgeous on it's own, its also opaque in two coats which I did not expect since it's meant to be a topper :) The only con is that when I did apply topcoat, even after curing this, the glitter got all over my topcoat's brush :( I don't own any polishes quite like this one which is great, though!

"The Last Petal" Two Coats
"The Last Petal" Two Coats Plus "Enchanted Patina" On Top

The second polish I swatched is called "The Last Petal", a gorgeous burgundy. Unfortunately this polish was not the best quality. Once I cured it under the LED light it wrinkled up which was such a bummer! I took it off and tried again just to see if it was my fault but it wrinkled again the second time as well :( The color of the polish was beautiful though! Sadly after adding the patina effect topper the wrinkle was very obvious so I was a bit upset about that as well :/ I did not enjoy this specific polish as much as I wanted to but all in all the color was gorgeous so I wasn't TOO too upset :)

"Be Our Guest" Two Coats
"Be Our Guest" Two Coats Plus "Enchanted Patina" On Top
"Be Our Guest" Brush
Next is "Be Our Guest", a lovely berry pink. This one applied very smooth and was opaque in two thin coats. I really like this color! I also think the patina over this color looks so pretty, the sparkles are so predominant and they just go very well together in my opinion!

"Potts Of Tea" Three Coats
"Potts Of Tea" Three Coats Plus "Enchanted Patina" On Top
"Potts Of Tea" Brush
Nail Art inspired by one of Emma Watson's dress in "The Beauty and the Beast". I used "Potts Of Tea", "Big Spender" by Nina Ultra Pro, "Happy Hour" by Pipe Dream Polish, and "Island Love" by Ella Mila Polish
Next is three thin coats of, "Potts of Tea". This polish is a more sheer gray/white creme with lots of micro flakies in gold and silver throughout. I love this one! I think it has such a pretty soft look to it and I love how subtle the flakies are :) This one also was very easy to apply and looked great! I think I probably should have done one more coat to make it just a bit more opaque but its still very pretty nonetheless. The patina over this one looked pretty similar to the patina by its self which I expected since it is a white color.

"Days In The Sun" Two Coats
"Days In The Sun" Two Coats Plus "Enchanted Patina" On Top
"Days In The Sun" Brush
Nail Art inspired by Belle's dress and the rose in "The Beauty and the Beast" live action film. I used "Days In The Sun", "The Last Petal", "Be Our Guest", "Enchanted Patina", and "Plumette With Excitement".
This is two thin coats of, "Days In The Sun", a perfect color match to Belle's gorgeous yellow dress! This is a soft yellow with super subtle pink shimmer, how cute! I should have done three coats of this because two is obviously not fully opaque, but I still think it looks so nice! This one I applied twice, one for the swatch and again for nail art and the second time it unfortunately wrinkled up a little on the sides like The Last Petal but not nearly as bad. This polish is such a lovely gold color with the patina over top, too :-)

"Plumette With Excitement" Two Coats
"Plumette With Excitement" Two Coats Plus "Enchanted Patina" On Top
"Plumette With Excitement" Brush
Nail Art inspired by the candle and tea cup in "The Beauty and the Beast" film. I used "Plumette With Excitement" and Stamped with "Big Spender" by Nina Ultra Pro
One of my favorites from the whole collection is this sweet baby pink creme called, "Plumette With Excitement". This is two, easy, smooth coats. I adore this pink, it's the perfect baby pink every girl needs! I loved how this looked on me and it had a very good formula compared to some of the other polishes in this collection! With the patina on top, it is transformed into a perfect rose gold color, perfect for a fancy mani! I think I liked the patina over this polish the most by far, it gave it such a gorgeous upgrade but it is lovely with or without :)

"Gatson And On And On" Two Coats
"Gatson And On And On" Two Coats Plus "Enchanted Patina" On Top
"Gatson And On And On" Brush
Finally we have my other favorite from the collection, "Gatson And On And On", a super beautiful sky blue color. Here I have on two coats but I think one more would've made it look a bit smoother. I think this polish pairs perfectly with "Plumette With Excitement" in my opinion! I love soft colors like this one and again, the formula on this was a big improvement. I liked the patina effect on this one very much as well, it gives it such a lovely antique look to it.

All in all, this collection wasn't bad! I would probably get this collection in regular polish instead of gel since I had quite a bit of trouble with the gels but I am so happy I received this collection actually! I love trying out new polishes and this was a fun experience. I really love all of the colors and I love how well they go together! I was not the biggest fan of the patina topper polish but I cannot deny it is super gorgeous and unique. I probably would use it alone instead of a topper since I kind of thought all of the patina effect colors were a bit too similar. The majority of the polishes had okay formulas which was nice, I do wish the polishes weren't so sticky after curing but I am very happy with the colors and end results :) Just don't forget topcoat! This whole collection has been released in correlation with Walt Disney Picture's live action film, "Beauty and the Beast", in theaters March 17th. I received this collection compliments of Gelish as part of the #PreenMeVIP program for free in exchange for my honest opinion of the products. (I ALWAYS provide my complete and utter honest opinion with all products/polishes I swatch/review.) I hope you guys enjoyed this post, thanks so much for reading! Talk to you guys soon! :)
